OACE was born in September, 1993. It was formed from the desire to provide Oregon Chapter educators increased opportunities for staff development particular to Chapter program goals, and to create the means to deliver quality staff training to all of Oregon. Regional staff development is our purpose.
The work of OACE culminates each year in the winter conference. During this event, administrators, teachers, paraeducators, parents, and others are all able to come together to gain and share information, experiences, and insights. It is our sincere hope that participants of the conference are able to return to their places of responsibilities with new insights and skills, and with renewed enthusiasm and dedication to the mission of comprehensive education.
